This tote bag is a two-fabric tote bag. It has a round bottom.

The top of the bag (H= 9 3/8"/23.7cm) is made from a lightweight woollen kimono featuring a kasuri pattern. 100% Wool. It is a beautiful upcycled vintage kimono from the 1970s.

Kasuri (絣) is a Japanese word for a fabric that has been woven with fibers dyed specifically to create patterns and images in the fabric. It is an ikat (resist-dyeing) technique. The patterns are characterized by a blurred or brushed appearance.

The bottom of the bag (H= 8 7/8"/22.3cm) is a round shaped bottom. It is a beautiful mediumweight mustard coloured denim. 100% cotton.

The tote bag is fully lined with a beautiful blue chambray shirting cotton fabric. It has a double inside pocket with a red bias.

Each tote is unique, and is handmade with a lot of TLC in London. You can safely and happily use it as a shopper bag or you can carry your books, papers and bigger items... Very eco-friendly!
